Day 229

Here's a little summin' summin' that's on our fridge.

We took these in a photo booth during the St. Patty's Day parade.  We got in there and all of a sudden we had to think of what to do.
I must say, it would have been nice to have some props or something...it felt a little awkward.

Day 187

Here's a picture of John playing with Griff, the youngest of the Z's (a family that lives out here that's practically family).

"Griff, grab my wrists."  Haha.  It's so nice having their family so close to us.  Paige and Scott are our friends, as are all four of their kids, but they're also like our Colorado siblings.

Day 179

Today is a very exciting day.  Ree Drummond, AKA The Pioneer Woman, is in Denver at The Tattered Cover, a really cool indie book store.  She just came out with a book about her intense love story about how she met her husband, a cattle rancher, and left the big city after marrying him.  She has a blog (click on the link) and it is amazing.  She has different categories covering her everyday life on the ranch and where ever she goes, cooking, home and garden, photography, and homeschooling.  She's amazing.  Her food is amazing, easy, and pretty cheap.
Becky opened me up to her blog this summer and I've been a PW Addict ever since.  I wake up in the morning, check my email, then check her blog.  It's been the source of many meals for John and I.  And it's great!  If you're into that sort of stuff, you should definitely check out her site.  But be warned, you will fall in love with her, her kids, her husband, their family, her kitchen, and everything in between.
