Unfortunately, there's no picture today. But it was an adventure! I went to a dermatologist for the first time. I had a bump on the back of my leg that I just didn't like. I went to my doctor and asked her to get rid of it, but instead she wanted me to see a dermatologist. Having never gone before, I had no idea what to expect, plus I was paranoid about what the bump was and what they were going to do to get rid of it.
I'll spare you the details, but just know I really don't do well with needles or anything like that. As I was lying on the exam bed/chair, I asked for a stress ball. There was a convenient metal thing holding the headrest to the back of the chair, so I rested my arms on it. Just ask the doctor was about to cauterize my leg where the bump had been, the nurse thank goodness saw that my arms were resting on the metal. She exclaimed, "Wait! Move your arms off that! You would have gotten a big shock if we started."
Whew. Just what I would have needed. Another traumatizing event involving doctors. No thank you.

Day 108
Today while Valerie and I were riding the T, some street performers got on. They were the same guys that I've posted about before. I figured they were on their way somewhere to go do their act. They may have been, but they were going to take the opportunity to perform on the T, too.
This is while the train was moving! They were crazy. They eventually got kicked off....the driver came over the PA system and said, "Guys what do you now understand. No performing on the train. Get off at the next stop and try it on the platform."
So awesome. I'm going to miss random things like this.

Day 94
Mom and I went to a store today called Thrill of the Hunt. I thought it was going to be a sort of clothing consignment place. We walked in and boy was I wrong. This place was awesome. There was really old furniture that they had stripped and refinished, lighting, jewelry, mirrors, and some just cool little trinkets. Then I found this:
One of the creepiest clowns I have ever seen in my life. Clowns don't scare me. Not at all. I remember watching It with my sister one day when we were both in elementary school while my parents weren't home. Still, I have no clown-phobia. However, my sister, Chelsea, does. She's terrified of them. I was tempted to buy this for her as a gag-gift, but the lady at the store told me that people actually collect them....there must be some really creepy people in this world.
