Day 222

I have these two potted plants that've been in the same potting soil for probably 2 years.  Along with the soil's undoubted lack of nutrition and the lack of sunlight over the winter, these poor plants are lookin' like they need some lovin'.

So I went to home depot and bought this:

Plant Food.  I took a home horticulture class in college and this would kill my professor (who was one of my favorites in all of college).  I remember him lecturing about this.  "Plants don't eat.  They don't need food.  They need nutrients.  Their roots absorb them, they don't eat."  Regardless, my plants have perked up and their leaves have become a darker, more healthy looking green.
