Day 188

I've never gone long without living with and having a dog.  I'm a dog person through and through and thank goodness John is, too.  I made a list a few days ago of potential future dogs for us and it just so happened that there was a huge dog show about 20 minutes away!  The first classes (I guess that's what you call them, at least that's what they're called at horse shows) started at 8AM so we left the apartment at 7:20 so we'd have plenty of time to find parking, walk to the location and find the rings we were looking for.  

As you may know, I love Greater Swiss Mountain Dogs.  What a better way to start the day than by classes of only Swissies?!  I can't think of anything that could possibly make me happier.  I was on cloud nine.

Even better, John has now met lots of Swissies and he loves them, too!!  Even better, we met an amazing breeder with beautiful dogs and she is all about making the breed the best it can be.  We talked to her for I don't even know how long and love on Amber, the 13 month girl above.  Today was a wonderful day and I love Swissies!!
