Day One

Once you decide that you want to start blogging, there are a million things you have to figure out:  Where are you going to post it?  What will it look like?  What in the world do you write about?  I figured that I would have plenty of things to fill this giant white page that stares at me.
I was lost soon realized that it is too easy to babble about random things.  Talking with a good friend who blogs (check her out: Domestic Dabblings), she told me about Project 365, where you take a picture everyday and post it.
Here goes.

This is my puppy cockapoo, she's just over 6 years old.  Maddie Bailey is also known as Doodle, Doodle Squat, Princess Maddie, diva, and spoil't rotten.  She is my Day One picture for many reasons.  Mainly because today she ran away after our other dog, Buddy, as he slipped out the door and bolted.  Maddie was already out and didn't hesitate following him who knows where.  Buddy came back while Maddie roamed for about 5 minutes, nearly giving me a heart attack.  But she came back and is now sleeping in her usual spot on my bed.
There are many reasons why I love her, despite her occasional "bad-dog" moments, just like any other dog lover feels for their dog, but one quote by Josh Billings sums it all up, "A dog is the only thing on earth that loves you more than he loves himself."
