There aren't many things in this world that I can't stand. But there are a few things that I could go so far as to say that I hate them. A few examples:
Hmmm. I can actually only think of one right off the top of my head.
Ironing.
It is the bane of my existence. Not to add that we have one of those toy-house sized ironing boards. You know the ones I'm talking about. They're about 2 feet long and stand only 2 or 3 inches off the ground. Forget having your back not hurt if you have a lot of things to iron. Plus your clothes are touching the ground, making it a pain to get all of the wrinkles out of where you're trying to iron.
Okay. Now for the good news. When I was growing up and would go to my mom with a problem she would quickly say, "That's the problem. Now what's the solution?" I've found myself saying this many times. Oh no. But this is a simple fix.
Tadaa!! A steamer! This is what we used when I worked retail and I fell in love with them. Except for when I would get a little to lax and would successfully burn the begeebies out of my skin with that gosh darn super hot steam. It really hurts.
But that's besides the point. This steamer is great. You can stand up while ridding your clothes of wrinkles and it's so much faster than ironing. I will admit, there's something satisfying about just watching the wrinkles fall out of the clothes. Kind of like splitting split ends.
No. Okay. Maybe that's just me and my hair that has had havoc reeked upon it with this dry Colorado air.
