Day 210

If you've been reading for a while or if you know me, especially if you know my dad, you know that we, my family, like birds.  My dad made a stand from scratch to hold all of his bird feeders.  Here's my sister and him putting some popcorn and cranberries on the stand.

Now one thing you cannot see is the contraption he made to keep the squirrels from getting to the bird feeders.  This was probably the 10th thing that he tried.  It's just a round piece of metal around the center post that is wrapped around, fastened, and looks like a cone.  The squirrels can't climb up the center post and thus to the bird feeders, allowing the birds, who the food is actually for, to eat.  And the damn squirrels have to eat off the ground.
Take that.
So imagine how I reacted when I saw this:

Ohhh I'll tell you how I reacted.  It went something like, "Oh. Uhh!  What are you doiing?!  Get off my porch!"  All the while that stupid squirrel is just sitting there, eating the bird seed off the porch that the silly birds have knocked off, and he is mocking me.  Yes.  Mocking me.  He honestly turned his head so he was looking straight at me and just stopped, as if say, "Oh yea.  Wuddah ya' gunna do 'bout it?"
So I pounded on the window.  And he ran off.
That'll show 'em.
