I went and visited with the Z's today. They have a precious little kitty named Rex and he is very much a "dog cat." It's my coined phrase referring to a cat that doesn't act like a ridiculous catty cat but rather like a human-loving dog trapped in a cat's body.
This is Rex grooming Griff, who was lying on the floor when little kitty came and started licking his hair for about 5 minutes. So cute.
