Wanting to do something different and fun today, we drove about 45 minutes west of Denver to Blackhawk, where there's a handful of casinos. It was a very interesting location; it was just in the middle of the mountains. But now just in the mountains, through 4 tunnels, through twists and turns, and tucked away, hidden in between some mountains. I looked at John once and said, "I wonder what made them think, 'Here. Here is a good place to put casinos.'" I guess it's kind of the same deal as why LasVegas was erected where it was, just on a less enormous scale.
We played a few penny slots, but those were confusing with all of the lines and why something didn't earn you anything and whatnot. But what was fun to play was Black Jack. We I learned a whole lot about the game, John said he knew it already :)
Where John doubled his money in Black Jack!
Where we didn't do so hot.
Penny slots!
