Day 87

Today I went to Raleigh and had some much needed girl time with Kelly!  We met up for lunch at one of our favorite spots, Hibachi 101 in Briar Creek.  I was in search of jeans as my favorite jeans had recently decided they had finally had enough and they tore, so we went down to Crabtree where we proceeded to be grabbed by the Benefit ladies at Belk.  They were having an "event."  They were essentially playing music and grabbing innocent passer-byers and putting makeup on them.  Sounds innocent, right?

Wrong.  Kelly looked beautiful.  However, my lady decided to put some kind of mascara topper that had blue sparkles in it.  She said, "oh it is so subtle and when it catches the light it is just beautiful."  Yea...she then put lip gloss on me that had the same blue sparkles in it.  Oh my.  Oh and what we thought would be an innocent half an hour tops then turned into 2 hours!!!  Oh well.  At least I got to spend some time with Kelly.
We later headed down to Glenwood and went to The Cupcake Shoppe, only one of my favorite places in Raleigh.

Kelly had the coconut cupcake and I had the seasonal pumpkin maple.  Oh so delicious!
