My last first day of school. Oh how it was so not bittersweet. I was more nervous about getting to school without any trouble because I have to take the green line to the red line to a bus. But it all happened without anything stopping me!
The bus drops students at UMass Boston off right at the front of their Campus Center and right when you walked in, there were balloons, administrators, and just happy people filling the foyer. The administrators were handing out free travel coffee mugs that also get you 15 cents off cups of coffee/tea at any place at UMass! Yay for benefits for going green!
As if they knew that I was walking in, what song was playing other than Sweet Caroline (dun dun dunnn) and then the Glee! remake of Journey's Don't Stop Believin'. ..two of my favorite songs. Yesterday was just wonderful. I met many new people and they were all so nice and welcoming. Yankees aren't so crazy after all.
Just as a side note, I'm making dinner for the girls Thursday night, so I took the liberty of decorating our awesome chalkboard that Megan made.
