I'm taking a class at UMass Boston called Introduction to Printmaking. In the class we draw a picture, transfer it onto a block, and then carve the block. Whatever is carved off becomes white when printed. It is definitely a challenge because I have never taken an art class and, in my opinion, did not/don't have any measurable artistic ability when it comes to drawing things. So here it goes. Here is the block, carved, with the ink on (excuse the flash):

Hopefully I'll get better as the semester goes, but not bad for a first timer.
